Scene Mode (Shooting
Suited toScenes)
SCENE-) 3D3D ph0t0graphy
• The camera takes one picture for each eye to simulate a threedimensional
image on a
3D-compatibJe TV or monitor.
• After pressing the shutter-release button to shoot the first
_
_
frame, move the camera horizontally to the right until the
guide on the screen overlaps the subject.
The camera automaticaJ]y captures the second image
when it detects that the subject is aligned with the guide.
Guide
• You can move the focus area that the camera focuses on. Press the _) button and then
rotate the multi selector or press A, V, • or • to move the focus area. To adjust the
following
settings, press the _) button to temporarily
cancel focus area selection, and
then adjust each setting.
- Focus mode (AF (autofocus) or _,A(macro dose-up))
- Exposure compensation
• The focus, exposure, and white balance are fixed when the first frame is shot, and
_[_IL
is displayed on the screen.
• The angle of view (i.e.,the area visible in the frame) seen in the saved image is narrower
than that seen on the monitor at the time of shooting.
• Pictures taken in this mode are saved with Normal
as the image quality and
I_ 1920x1080
as the image size.
• The two captured images are saved as a 3D image (MPO file). The first image (the left eye
image) is also saved as a JPEGfile.
Notes
on 3D
Photography
• Moving
subjects
are not suited
to 3D photography.
• Pictures have a less pronounced
3D feel as the distance
between
the camera
and subject
is
increased.
• Pictures may have a less pronounced
3D feel when the subject
is dark or when the second
picture
is not aligned
precisely,
• Pictures taken under dim lighting
may appear
grainy
with noise.
• The telephoto
zoom
position
is restricted
to an angle
of view equivalent
to that of about
135 m m
lens in 35mm
[135] format,
• The operation
is canceled
when the _) button
is pressed after shooting
the first frame or the
camera
cannot
detect
that the guide
is on the subject
within
10 seconds.
• If the camera
does not take the second
picture
and cancels the shooting
even when
you align the
guide
with the subject,
try shooting
with the shutter
release button.
• This camera
cannot
record 3D movies.
