Mode
Choose how the focus point for autofocus is selected.
Note that [.0.1(Dynamic-area
AF) and [3D1 (3D-tracking
(11 points)) are not available when AF-Sis selected for
focus mode.

User selects focus point using multi selector (_ 40); camera focuses

AF
on subject in selected focus point only. Use with stationary
subjects.
In AF-AandAF-Cfocus modes,user selects focus point using multi selector
(_ 40), but camera will focus based on information

[-O.] Dynamic-area
AF surrounding
focus points if subject
briefly leaves selected
point.
Use
with erratically
moving
subjects.
In AF-AandAF-C focusmodes,user selects focus point using multi selector
(_ 40). If subject
moves after camera has focused,
camera uses 3D-

to select new focus point and keep focus locked on original

subject while shutter-release
button
is pressed halfway.
If subject
leaves viewfinder,
remove your finger from shutter-release
button
and recompose
photograph
with subject in selected focus point.

is not displayed in
the monitor,
