Thetemperaturecontrolsarepresetin thefactoryat 3/°F fortherefrigerator compartmentand O°F for the
freezer compartment. A llow24 hoursfor thetemperature to stabilizeto thepresetrecommended settings.
Thetemperaturecontrolscandisplay both theSETtemperature aswellasthe actualtemperature in
therefrigerator and freezer. T heactualtemperature may varyslightlyfrom theSETtemperature based
on usageand operatingenvironment.
Onsomemodels, s ettingbothcontrolsto thewarmestsettinguntilthedisplayflashes(off)willstop
coolingin boththefreezerandrefrigerator compartments.
Onothermodels, s ettingeithercontrolto thewarmestsettinguntilthe display flashes(off)will stop
thecoolingto thefreezer and refrigerator.

ThePerformance Air-FlowSystemisdesignedto
maximize temperaturecontrolin the refrigerator
andfreezercompartments. Thisuniquespecial
featureconsists of the AirToweralongthe back
wallof the refrigeratorandthe AirTunnelon the
bottomportionof thefreezerrearwall.Placing
foodin front of the louvers on thesecomponents
willnot affect performance. A lthoughthe Air
Towerand theAir Tunnel c an be removed,doing
sowillaffect temperatureperformance. ( For

How it Works
TurboCool r apidlycoolsthe refrigerator
compartmentin orderto morequicklycoolfoods.
UseTurboCool when addinga largeamount
of foodto the refrigeratorcompartment,putting
away foodsafter they havebeensittingout at
roomtemperatureor whenputting away warm
leftovers, i t canalsobe usedif the refrigeratorhas
beenwithout powerfor an extendedperiod.
Onceactivated, t he compressor willturn on
immediatelyand thefans will cycleon and off
at high speedas neededfor eighthours.
Thecompressor w ill continueto run untilthe
refrigerator compartmentcoolsto approximately
34°F(1°C), then it willcycleon and off to maintain
thissetting.After8 hours,or if Tur6oCool i s
pressed again,the refrigerator compartment
willreturnto the originalsetting.
How to Use
Press TurboCool. TheTurboCool t emperature
displaywillshow Tcand the LED willbe activated.
AfterTurboCool i s complete, t he TurboCool
indicatorlightwill go out.
NOTES: T herefrigerator temperaturecannot
be changedduringTurboCool.
Thefreezer temperatureis not affected
duringTurboCool.
Whenopeningthe refrigerator door
duringTurboCool, t hefans willcontinue
to run ifthey havecycledon.
