the Parental Control? Trouble with cable-TV system'? Check
auxiliary audio/video
equipment. Check channel selection.
Picture blurred or distorted. Ghost in picture.
Check antenna or cable hookup for broken wires. Tr.¢ another
channel -- possible station trouble. Check for local interference.
Poor or no color.
Is it a color program? Check antenna or cable hookup for broken'
wires. Adjust Video Menu options.
No sound.
Volume setting may be too low. Check MUTE on remote.
Check
Audio Mode in Audio Menu: Audio Mode may be set to SAP,
but no SAP signal is detected on tae channel.
Cannot select certain channels.
Add/Del/Surf
of the Setup Menu may skip channel,;.
No closed captions.
Are captions available? Is Caption
1,2, 3, or 4 selec_:ed using the
Caption/Text option of the Setup Me au?
Black box covers half of screen.
Is text available?
Is Text 1, 2, 3, or 4 selected in the Cap6on/Text
option of the Setup, Menu?
No picture or :sound when you select Video source.

Is TV/VCR switch on the VCR in the TV position?
Check Add/Del/Suff
in Setup Menu: Is only one channel labeled
as "Added?" If operating TV in Surf mode, is only one channel
labeled as "Surf?"
Remote does not work.
Are batteries good? Is TV turned On? Is TV plugged in?
Auto Demo does not turn Off.
Set Auto Demo to Off in the Setup Menu.
Menu options cannot be changed or selected.
Reset the TV by disconnecting
the AC power cord from the power
outlet, wait a few minutes, then plug the TV back into the outlet.
You will have to reset the clock to the current time.
