1. ALWAYS RETURN THECARRIAGE TO THE
FULLREARWARD POSITION ATCONCLUSION
OFEACH CROSSCUT
TYPE OPERATION.
Never
remove yourhand fromtheYokeHandle unless the
carriage i s in this position. Otherwise thecutting
tool mayclimb up on the workpiece a ndbe
propelled toward you.
2. Placeguardin horizontal p ositionand adjust
antikickback pawls t ojustclear t hetopofthefence
or workpiece, whichever is higher. Thisprovides
additional guarding.
3. NEVER gang crosscut - liningup more thanone
workpiece infrontofthefence - stacked vertically,
or horizontally outward on thetable- andthen
