Loading and playing a CD
The symbols below represent buttons on the LIFESTYLE _> remote control unless otherwise
indicated.
Press _ to select the CD player and begin playing the CD loaded in the disc tray. This
also turns the system on if it is off.
To load another disc after the one playing ends:

1. Lift up the media center front door and press _ on its control panel.
2. Insert the audio CD into the tray.

3. Press _ to close the disc tray, Play begins automatically.
Control options
If you want to:
Pause a CD...
Resume play of paused CD...
Stop a CD...
Clear continuously scrolling track
information (for an MP3-CD) from
the media center display...
Go to next track...
Do this:
Press (_).
Press _ or ([_.
Press ([_D. Press ([_) to restart at the beginning
of the CD.
Press and hold _until the display changes.

'_JPress and hold again to restore
the scrolling display of text.
Press _.0_Z1 up.

Go to beginning of the track... After track has played for several seconds,
press down.
Go to a previous track...
Scan a CD backward or forward...
Randomly play CD tracks...
Cancel random play...
Repeat a track...
Repeat a CD...
Cancel repeat...
Press T,_, R down:
_,0,0_ once if no music is playing.

_J •twice if the music has begun.
Press and hold ((_ seek C _/.
On MP3 discs, this jumps to the beginning of a track.
Press _.
Press _ again.
Press _.
Press _ again.
Press _ a third time.
Note: For information on the quick adjustments you can make to CD settings, refer to
"CD setting options" on page 36. Instructions on how to enter the menu to make these changes
are available in "How to see your options" on page 34.
