TV OPERATIONS.
Press TV on the remote to select TV operation.

Point Remote at TV
PRG (Program)
Programs your remote to operate other
produ,=ts. See "Programming Your
Remote" in this chapter for details.
FLASHBK (Flashback)
Returns to the
previous channel.
SURF
Activates the TVs channel
"Surf" feature.
CHANNEL (Up or Down)
Tunes to the next higher or lower channel
programmed into the TV memory.
POWER
Tunas I'V On or Off.
TV
Select.'. TV operation.
METE
Turns sound Off and Gn while the picture
remair s.
VOLUME Left/Right
Changes the TV's sound level.
When the "Surf" option is
On, you receive only channels
set as "Surf' channels.
NUMBERS
' SelecI ; channels direct!y and enters
numeric values for some options.
ENTER
Shows the Channel/Time display.
Press after channel numbers for
fast selection.
ENTER
Up, rDown and Left/Right Arrows
The Up/Down arrows _elect options.
The Left/Right arrows adjust options.
MENU
Displays on-screen menus
for TV mode.

Funcuons available on some
TVs and optional equipment.
TIMER
Displays the Sleep Timer Menu. Press
repeatedly to set TV shut-off time.
Specifies AM or PM when
you set the clock or use a timer
feature. See "Getting to Know Your
TV" section for more details.

Removes on-screen display from view.
If rLodisplay is on, swttches front speaker
surround sound On and Oft for some TVs.
CC (Closed Captionit7 g)
Di.,,plays the closed caption menu.
