You can use a camcorder as the source player and your
unit as the recording deck.
Slide the TV/CABLE/DBS/DVD switch to DVD.
]
Make connections.
[] If the camcorder has no S-VIDEO output connector:
-- connect the camcorder's AUDIO OUTPUT and
VIDEO OUT connectors to the unit's AUDIO and
VIDEO input connectors on the front panel.
[] If the camcorder has an S-VIDEO output connector:
connect the camcorder's AUDIO OUTPU] and
S-VIDEO OU] connectors to the unit's AUDIO and
S-VIDEO input connectors on the front panel.
• When using a monaural camcorder, connect its AUDIO
OUTPUT connector to the AUDIO L input connector on your
unit.
_Set the unit'sinputmode.
Press CH +/- to set the channel to "F-1 ".
• When using S-VIDEO connector, set "FRONT AUX F-1" to
"S-VIDEO'. (_ pg. 98)
• When using VIDEO connector, set "FRONT AUX F-1" to
"VIDEO". (t-€_pg. 98)
I_1 Set the recording speed.
Press REC MODE repeatedly until the desired recording
speed appears.
L_e Preparethe camcorder for dubbing.
Start playback on the camcorder slightly before tile actual
point from where you wish to start dubbing.
_ Start dubbing.
Press and hold S, then press I_ on the Remote, or press
• on the unit.
_J Stopdubbing.
Press • on the unit, then sto I) playback on tile
camcorder.
NOTES:
• All necessary cal)les can be obtained from your dealer.
• Refer to the camcorder's instruction manual for operating
procedure.
• The quality of dubbed picture becomes poorer than that of the
original.
