SELF TIMER
SHTRSOUND
This is for recording still pictures using the timer.
• Change the mode to _ .
Select the menu. (-3, 27)
[PICTURE] _ [SELF TIMER] _ desired setting
4) 1 0 (Records after 1 0 seconds)
4)2 (Records after 2 seconds)
• When the O button is pressed, a still picture is recorded
after the 4) 10 or 4)2 display flashes for the time which has
been set.
• After recording, the Self-timer is canceled.
To stop the timer midway through
Press the MENU button.
You can add a shutter sound when recording still
pictures.

SCENE MODE:
• (Low light/Sunset)
The shutter speed is 1/30 or more.
• (SunsetlFireworkslScenerylNight Scenery)
Image may get blurry when a close
object is recorded.
• (Sports)
During normal playback, the image
movement may not look smooth.
Color and screen brightness may
change under indoor lighting.
If the brightness is insufficient, the
Sports Mode does not function. The
,_ display flashes.
• (Portrait)
Color and screen brightness may
change under indoor lighting.
• (Fireworks)
Image may get washed out when
recorded in bright surroundings.
• (Night scenery)
Using a tripod is recommended.
RELAY REC:
• In the Relay recording, still pictures are
also recorded onto the SD card.
AUTO SLOW SHTR:
• When the shutter speed becomes 1/30,
the screen may be seen as if frames are
missed and afterimages may appear.
• If the scene is low in brightness or contrast,
the subject may not be focused on.
WIND NOISE CANCELER:
• When the Intelligent Auto Mode is set to
on, [WIND NOISE CANCELER] is set to
[ON], and the setting cannot be changed.
• The sound quality may be changed if this
function is activated in strong winds.
SELF TIMER:
• The Self-timer standby mode is canceled
when you press the recording start/stop
button to start motion picture recording.
• Setting the Self-timer to _)2 is a good way
to prevent image shake when the
button is pressed while using a tripod etc.
SHTR SOUND:
• There wilt be no shutter noise when taking
stilt pictures during motion picture recording.
