Notes
on discs
• Belbrc playing,
clean the disc _ith a cleaning
cloth.
Wipe the disc from the center
out.
• Do net use selvents
such as benzine,
thinner,
commercially
available
cleaners
or anti-static
spray
intended
fer vinyl LPs.
• Do not expose
the disc to direct sunlight
or heat
seurces
such as het air ducts, her leave it
ill
a car
parked in direct sunlight.
• Do not use discs encircled
with a protectien
ring.
This may cause a malfunctien
to the system.
• When using discs that have glue or similar tacky
substance
on the label side of the disc or that used a
special
ink when the label was printed,
them is a
chance that the disc or label may become
attached
to
parts inside this unit. When this eccurs,
it may not be
possible
to remove the disc,
md may also cause this
unit to malfunction.
Be sure to check that the label
side of the disc is not sticky beferc using.
The fellex_ing
types of disc should net be used:
Rental or used discs with attached seals where the
glue extends
beyond
the seal. The perimeter
of the
seal on the disc is tacky.
Discs thlt have labels printed using a special ink
that llaels tacky when touched.
Cleaning
the
cabinet
Clean the cabinet, ?anel and centrols

slightly moistened
with mikl detergent
solution. Do net
use any type of abrasive pad, scouring
powder or
solvent
such as thinner, benzine
or alceheh

a tape
permanently

a tape
longer
than

minutes

such as play, step, and fast-winding
frequently.

Cleaning
the tape
heads
Clean the ta?c helds afler every 10 hours ef use. Be
sure te clean the tape heads before you start an
important recording er after pl@ng an old tape. Use a
separately seld dry-type or wet4ype cle ruing cassette.

cassette.
Demagnetizing
the
tape
heads
Demagnetize
the tape heads and the metal parts that
have contact with the tape after evel 3' 20 to 30 hours of
use with a separately
sold demagnetizing
cassette.

cassette.
