Data CD Priority (MP3, JPEG only)
Set prinrity data you want Io play, when you
play the data disc (CD-ROM/CD-R/CD-RW)
contained MP3 audio Iracks and JPEG image
files. Wheu you change this setting, eiect and
reload Ihe disc.
The default setting is underlined.
MP3 If m MP3 file exists on Ihe disc,
the s,,,slem recognizes Ihedisc as
an MP3 Disc. If only JPEG files
exist on the disc, Ihe system
recognizes Ihe disc as a JPEG
Disc.
JPEG Ifi JPEG file exisls on the disc,
the syslem recognizes Ihedisc as a
JPEG Disc. lfonly MP3 files exist
on Ihe disc, the syslem recognizes
the disc as an MP3 Disc.
Notes
• For Asian and Oceanian models, you can change the
color system of this unit according to the connected
TV (page 10).
• If "Dolby Digital" or "DTS" is set to "Bit Stream",
sound is not output from the supplied speakers and
optional headphone does not function, and no sound
is being recorded when recording to tape.
Tip
You can reset all the DVD settings except for Parental
Control by perfi)rming the oper itions described under
"To return the DVD setup to the default settings::',
perfi)rm reset as follows:" (page 44).

Limiting playback by children
You can limit the playback of some DVDs
according to a predetermined level such as the
age of the users.
When a limited scene is played back. that scene
is cut or replaced with a preset other scene.

Press DVD SETUP in stop mode.
The Setup Display appears.
2 Press t(... or =1_ repeatedly to select
"Rating", then press ENTER.
3 Press ], to select "Rating".
When a 4-digit password has already been
registered, enter the 4-digit password using
the number buttons, then press ENTER.
You can then select "Rating'.
Press ENTER repeatedly to select the
level you want.
Each time you press the button, the level
changes.
The lower the value, the more strict the
limitatinn.
Press tt' to select "Password".
