You configure the camera so it does not turn on when you press
the [O] (REC) or [_] (PLAY) button, or to turn off when you
press the [O] (REC) or [[_] (PLAY) button.
1. Press [MENU].

On the "Set Up" tab, select "REC/PLAY" and
then press [11_].
3. Use [A] and [Y] to select the setting you want
and then press [SET].
Turn on the camera Power On
Turn on or turn off the camera Power On/Off
Do not turn on the camera Disable
_NOTE
• With "Power On/Off', the camera turns off when you press
[_'_] (REC) in the REC mode or [_] (PLAY) in the PLAY
mode.
• The initial factory default for this setting is "Power On".
• Change this setting to anything besides "Disable" before
connecting to a TV for image viewing.
