Using the Self-timer
Press the < 4 _ ® > button.

® Press the <_> key to select the
desired self-timer, then press <_>.

Press the < _.V > key to set the
number of multiple shots (2 to 10)
to be taken with the self-timen
Take the picture.
® Focus the subject and press the
shutter button completely.
_y,, Y ou can check the self-timer
operation with the self-timer lamp,
beeper, and countdown display (in
seconds) on the LCD monitor.
_ Two seconds before the picture is
taken, the self-timer lamp will stay on
and the beeper will sound faster.
With <®c >. the in_er\ al between the multiple shots may be prolongea
depending on the image-recording quality and flash.
® After taking the self-timer shots, you shou_a check the _mageLsj fop
proper focus and exposure (p.54).
If you will not look Ihrough the vievdinder/,/hen you press the shutter eu_ton.

When using the self-timer to snoot only yourself, use focus lock (p.46) for
an object at about the same ols_ance as where you will be.
To cancel the self-timer after it starts, press the <_ _ ®> button.
