4_ Press the <AFoDRIVE> button.

Do not stand in front of the camera when you press the shutter ou[[on [o
start the self-timer.
Doing so prevents [he camera from focusing
the subject.
Use a tripod when using me self-timer
Before starting the self-timer,
look through the viewfinder
or cover it with

To cance_ the self-timer after it starts, set the power switch to <OFF>
When using the self-timer to shoot only yourself, use focus lock (p.83) for

self-timer
