Before You Start
_ Select the memory card.
® [D] is the CF card, and [[_] is the SD
card.
® Turn the <O> dial to select the card,
then press <J_>.

Select [OK].
® When [[_] is selected, Iowqevel
formatting is possible. (pA9)
® Turn the <O> dial to select [OK],
then press <_>.
/_ The memory card will be formatted.
_y,, W hen the formatting is completed,
the menu will reappear.
_ When the memory caru is formatted or erased, only the file management
information is changed. The actual data is no[ compLe-[e y erased. Be
aware of this when selling or discarding the card.
When discarding the me-nory card, destroy the card physically to prevent
personal data from being leaked
If a memory card-related error message _sdLsplayea on me LCD monitor.
remove and reinstall the card. If the error persists, use a different card.
If you can transfer all the images in the ca[d to a personal compu[er.
Iransfer all the images and then format the card. The card may then
re-turn to normal.
