Changing Camera Settings
@ Turning
Off the
Start-up
image
You can turn off the start-up
image that displays
when
you turn on the
camera.
@ Choose [Start-up Image], then press the 4)'
buttons to choose [Off].
@ Changing
the
File Number
Assignment
Images
you shoot
are automatically
assigned
file numbers
in the order they
were taken, from 0001 - 9999, and saved to folders
of up to 2,000 images.
You can change
the file number
assignment.
_, Choose [File Numbering],
then press the
4 _ buttons to choose an option.

shoot using a new
memory card, the file numbers
Continuous
are assigned consecutively until
an image with the number 9999
is taken/saved.
with a new one, or a new folder
Auto Reset
is created, file numbering
begins with 0001 again.
_ if you usea memory card already containing
images, the newly
assigned fi!e numbers may €ontinue the existing numbering for both the
[Continuous ] and [Auto Reset] settings. JfYOUwant to Start ove[ with fi!e
number 0001, format the memory card before use (p. 22).
