You can use the digital
zoom to zoom
up to a maximum
of 13x and capture
subjects
that are too far away for the optical zoom
(p. 20) to enlarge.
The
images
may appear
coarse,
however,
depending
on the recording
pixel
setting
(p. 64) and the zoom factor used.
\
Press the zoom button toward ESq.
Hold the button until zooming
stops.
When
you release
the button,
the largest
possible
zoom factor without
image
deterioration,
and
SJ_ will appear.
Press the zoom button toward E_-I
again.
The digital
zoom will further zoom
in on
the subject.
