You can customize convenient and commonly used functions from the _'T
tab (p. 44).
Turning Off the Start-up image
You can turn off the start-up image that displays when you turn on the
camera.
Select [Start-up Image], then press the 4 I_
buttons to select [Off].
Turning off the Power Saving Function
You can set the power saving function (p. 39) to [Off]. Setting it to [On] is
recommended to save battery power.
Select [Power Saving], then press the @
button.
Press the Av buttons to select [Auto Power
Down], then use the _1_ buttons to select [Off].
If you set the Power Saving function to [Off],
be careful not to forget to turn off the camera
after use.
Setting the Screen Shut-Off Time
You can adjust the time the screen takes to shut off automatically (p. 39).
This also works when [Auto Power Down] is set to [Off].
Select [Power Saving], then press the @
button.
Press the ._.v buttons to select [Display Off],
then use the _), buttons to select a time.
@ In order to save battery power, it is
recommended to select less than [1 min.].
