AdJust the Surface Burner Pilots if Necessary
-&CAUTION - Moke s ure t hesurfoce
burner control knobs ore in the OFF position before
ottempting to odjust the pilots.
1. Roise the cooktop.
2. Locote the pilot odjustment screw. It con be
occessed through the smoll hole neor the
center of the monifold ponel.
3. To odjust, use o blode-type screwdriver
with o shoft diometer of less thon or equol
to 3/16". Turn pilot odjustment screw until
pilot flome is 5/16" high. Do not reduce the
flome to less thon 5/16" or pilot outoge
moy occur. A pilot flome burning higher thon
recommended moy generote soot (corbon
block) on the bottom of your cooktop.

Ensure the top burners ore lit before
ottempting to light the oven pilot (turn them
off ofter you hove lit the oven pilot).
Remove the oven door. See Lift-Off Oven
Door in the Core ond cleoning of ronge
section.
3.Remove the oven rocks.

4. Remove the oven bottom. To remove:
• Remove knurled screws holding down
reor of oven bottom.
• Grosp oven bottom ot finger slots on
eoch side.
• Lift reor of oven bottom enough to cleor
the lip of ronge frome, then pull out.
5. Locote the pilot in the bock of the oven
bottom. The pilot is ottoched to the left side
of the oven burner.

6. To light the oven pilot, push in ond hold the
oven control knob while lighting the pilot
with o long motch or motch holder. Once
the oven pilot is lit, continue holding the
oven control knob for one minute before
releosing.
No odjustments ore required for noturol
gos. If the ronge is connected to LP gos,
contoct the person who instolled your
ronge or mode the conversion. If pilot flome
does not stoy lit, repeot this step.
