P" Program AE
To obtain a good exposure of the subject, the camera sets the exposure
(shutter speed and aperture) automatically. TMs is called Program AE.
Set the Mode Dial to
<P>.

Focus the subject.
_ Look through the viewfinder and aim
the selected AF point over the
subject. Then press the shutter button
halfway.
_y,, T he dot inside the AF point achieving
focus flashes briefly in red, and the
focus confirmation light <0> in the
viewfinder's bottom right lights (with
One Shot AF + automatic AF point
selection).
_y,, T he shutter speed and aperture will
be set automatically and displayed in
the viewfinder.
Check the shutter speed and
aperture dispJay.
_ A correct exposure will be obtained
as long as the shutter speed and
aperture display do not blink.
_,_ Take the picture.
_ Compose the shot and press the
shutter button completely.
