    • Hold the handle of the pan when stirring or turning food. This helps prevent spills and movement of the pan. • Use Proper Pan Size. The use of undersized cookware will expose a portion of the heating element or burner to direct contact and may result in ignition of clothing.

  • Page 10 Getting Started Make sure the burner cap is completely seated on the burner base before attempting to light the burner. If the burner cap is not placed correctly, the burner may not light or the flame may not burn completely or correctly. The appliance is equipped with two types of burners: standard and diffusion.
  • Page 11 Getting Started Oven Racks Depending on model, the range is equipped with one of the following combina- tions: • Three flat racks • Two flat racks and one full extension rack • Two flat racks and one half rack Flat Oven Racks The racks are designed with a stop so they will stop before coming completely out of the oven and not tilt.

  • Page 16 Getting Started • The clock time will appear during all oven operations except when the timer is running. • The oven is preset to a 12 hour clock and indicates AM and PM. To switch to a 24 hour clock, see "Select Function" section. •...
