For many foods, especially roasts and poultry, internal food temperature is the best test for doneness. The temperature
probe takes the guesswork out of cooking foods to the exact aloneness you want.
Use ot i)robes other than the one provided
with this product may result ill danmge to
the probe.
Use the handles of the probe and plug
when inserting and relnoving theln fl'om
the fi)od and outlet.
The temperature probe has a
skewer-like probe at one end and a
plug at the other end that goes hTto
the outlet h7the oven.
Toavoid damaging yourprobe, do not use tongs
to pull on the cable when removing it
Toavoid breaking the probe, makesure food is
completelydefrosted before inserting
Topreventpossible burns,do not unplug the
probe from the outlet until the oven has cooled
Neverleaveyourprobeinsidetheovenduring
a self-claaning c ycle.
Do not store the probe in the oven.
_Mter preparing the meat and placing it on
a trivet or on the broiler pan gIid, follow

Insert the probe completely into the meat.
It should not touch the bone, fat or gristle.
For roasts Mth no bone, insert tile probe
into tile meatiest part of tile roast. For
bone-in lmm or land), insert tile probe into
the center of the lowest large muscle.

How to Set the Oven For Cooking When Using the Probe
[] Insert tile probe into tile fi)od.
[] Plug tile probe into tile outlet ill tile
oxen. Make sure it's pushed all the
wax ill. Close the oxen dooi:
[] Touch tile PROBE pad.
[] Touch tile number pads to set
tile desired internal food or meat
telnl)erature between 100°F and 200°E

Touch tile
BAKEpad.
[] Touch tile munber pads to set tile
desired o_,en temperature.
[] Touch tile START pad.

outletandyouhavenotset a probetemperature a nd

Tile display Mll show LO until tile internal
telnl)erature of tile food reaches 1 O0°F;
