The red icon G with the words "Press
Close" is viewed on the multi-function
display only if the vehicle speed exceeds
20 Km/h (12.4 mph) and the roof is not
resting on the windscreen cross member.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURE

If the system has switched to an "Error"
or "Unknown" condition because of
an incorrect control procedure or
due to malfunctioning of one of the
components, which can be identified by
the illumination of the warning light
the instrument panel, (see on page 92),
you can exit this condition by operating
switch B until the roof rests on the
windscreen cross member.
You can then open the roof pushing
switch B, or you can close it operating the
safety handle A.
If the fault persists after closing the roof
manually, contact the Ferrari Service
Network.
If the battery is accidentally disconnected
or it discharges during the roof opening/
closing cycle, the system goes to the
"Initialisation" condition and the ECU
must be reset after recharging the
battery.

Follow the procedure below.
• Manually close the roof as described
below.
• Reconnect the battery (see on page
144).
• Turn the ignition key to position
(Ignition).

• Detach the battery connector.
• Turn the ignition key to position
(Stop).
• Reconnect the battery.
• Turn the ignition key to position II.
• Push the toggle switch in the closing
direction for at least 5
This way, the ECU operates the rear
locks until they reach the mechanical
stop corresponding to the roof closed
position, and it sets the position of the
rear locks to the correct value.
