Needle penetration in feeding direction

Caution: Risk of injury !
Turn the main switch off !
Check and set the needle penetration only with the sewing machine
switched off.
Standard checking
The needle 1 should penetrate the centre of the feed dog's 2 stitch
hole when the stitch length is set to "0".

Set the stitch length to "0".

Insert a new needle.

Turn the needle bar with the handwheel until it descends.
–
Check the position of the needle in the stich hole.
Correction
–
Effectuate the settings of chapter 2.5.1 (needle bar) once again.
