b. Remove the four screws at the rear of the chassis that secure the power supply assembly, then slide
the power supply assembly toward the front of the computer and lift it out of the chassis.

13. Install the new power supply assembly into the chassis, make sure the screw holes in the new power
supply assembly align with those in the chassis.
14. Install the four screws at the rear of the chassis to secure the new power supply assembly in place.
15. Push the power supply assembly cables through the hole in the chassis and through the clips on the
bottom of the hard disk drive cage.
16. Connect the power supply assembly cables to the system board and all drives. In some models, you
might need to connect the power supply assembly cables to the PCI cards.
17. Position the side cover into place so that the screw holes in the side cover align with those in the
chassis. Reinstall the ten screws to secure the side cover.
18. Return the computer to its original position.
19. Reinstall the optical drive bracket into the chassis.
20. Slide the optical drive into the bracket from the front of the computer until it snaps into position.
Reconnect the signal cable and the power cable to the optical drive.
21. Reinstall the PCI card holder. See "Removing and reinstalling the PCI card holder" on page 81.
22. Reinstall the front bezel. See "Removing and reinstalling the front bezel" on page 81.
