6. Pivot the optical drive bracket as shown in the following illustration and then remove it from the chassis.

7. Remove the front fan assembly for easier access to the internal speaker cable. See "Replacing the front
fan assembly" on page 93.
8. Locate the internal speaker in the computer. See "Locating FRUs and CRUs" on page 73.
9. Disconnect the internal speaker cable from the system board. See "Locating parts on the system
board" on page 76.
Note: Ensure that you note the locations of the cables when you disconnect the cables from the
system board.
