PJ Camera Software Operating Environment
■ Project Monitor Image
This setting controls whether or not the rough (monitor) image should be projected during
[Auto] projection while there is no document camera image being projected. Clearing this
check box turns off the feature, and keeps projecting the current document camera image
until the next one is recorded and projected.
Configuring This Setting
Select the check box to turn on rough (monitor) image projection. Clearing the check box
turns off rough (monitor) image projection.
This setting is ignored during [Manual] projection.
■ Default Rotation
Use this setting to specify the default direction for auto rotation during projection and image
file storage. This setting makes it possible to configure PJ Camera Software to produce
images that are oriented differently from the orientation of the documents placed on the PJ
Camera Stand.
To do this:
Turn off image rotation
Rotate the image 90 degrees right
Rotate the image 90 degrees left
Rotate the image 180 degrees
Configuring This Setting
Click the option you want to select. This turns on (

■ Recording Resolution
This setting specifies the resolution of images recorded with the PJ Camera in the Document
Camera Mode.
Speed (4 Megapixels):
Quality (10 Megapixels): Records with 10-megapixel resolution.
Configuring This Setting
Click either "Speed (4 Megapixels)" or "Quality (10 Megapixels)" to specify a resolution. This
turns on (

Image recording resolution is always "Speed (4 Megapixels)" when PJ Camera Software
(Version 1.2) is controlling the PJ Camera that comes with the YC-400. In this case,
"Quality (10 Megapixels)" cannot be selected.
