Your phone automatically selects an SA Voice or
SA Ring or an ICOM Voice or ICOM Ring button. You
do not need to press an ICOM or SA button when the
button you want to use is selected automatically.
If the extension is busy, use Camp-On (see page 5-57).
If the call is not answered in the time allowed by the
system, it rings back at your phone.
One-Touch Transfer
One way to transfer calls to inside phones is by pressing
Transfer and dialing the extension (see above). Another way
is to use One-Touch Transfer, with either automatic or manual
completion.
Ask your system manager if your system is set up for
One-Touch Transfer with automatic completion or with manual
completion.
One-Touch Transfer with automatic completion. Press
a programmed Auto Dial button to transfer the call. The call
is sent to the extension automatically.
One-Touch Transfer with manual completion. Press a
programmed Auto Dial button and then press Transfer or
hang up. You can announce the call to see if the person
can take the call before you press Transfer or hang up.
