FAQ _______________________________
How do I purchase music on the Internet?
You can legally buy music online from digital music stores. Music files that you purchase can be stored
on your computer, and be transferred later to your player.
How do I reset my player?
You can use the end of a thin object (for example, a straightened paperclip) to push the Reset button
located next to the Hold switch. Hold the Reset button until the OLED display turns off.
How do I format my player?
You can format your player if your player gets corrupted and starts performing erratically. Before you
begin, back up the files found on your player, as the files will be lost during formatting.
1.
Connect your player to your computer's USB port using the supplied USB cable.
2.
Double-click the My Computer icon on your desktop.
Alternatively, click Start → My Computer.
3.
Right-click your player's Removable Disk icon and select Format. Make sure that you have
selected FAT32 in the File system box and Default allocation size in the Allocation size
box.
4.
Click the Start button located at the bottom of the window.
5.
After the formatting is complete, make sure you stop your player before disconnecting it from
your computer. For instructions on disconnecting your player safely, see "Disconnect the player"
on page 5.
For more FAQ, refer to your player's User's Guide found on the Installation and Applications
CD (see "More Information" on page 11).
