USER INSTRUCTIONS
If you move house or if your water supply changes, it may be necessary to adjust the water
hardness settings. If in doubt, check the hardness value of the new water supply with the local
Water Company.
If the hardness value is above 29 degrees, it is recommended that specialist advice is obtained
on whether a means of treatment for the water supply is required.
If regenerating salt is required, always use the coarse type recommended for dishwashers.
Only use rinse aid products recommended for dishwashers and not hand washing liquids.
Only use detergent that is recommended for dishwashers and take note of the detergent
manufacturer's advice on useage.
Detergent is not required for the Pre-wash program.
Always store cleaning powders away from sources of humidity.
Avoid using more than the quantity of cleansing products recommended by the detergent
manufacturer.
Whilst loose residues of food should be removed, avoid pre-washing dishes by hand.
The following materials are not suitable for dishwashing:
Wood
Plastic (unless stated by the manufacturer)
Aluminium (will become stained and darkened)
Pewter or copper
Crystal glass (unless stated by the manufacturer)
Horn or mother-of-pearl
Antique or hand painted porcelain
Normally wiping the exterior of the appliance with a soft cloth dampened with a detergent
solution and drying with a soft cloth is sufficient, but for stubborn marks use a proprietary cleaner
recommended for paint finishes.
Before using your appliance for the first time or after a prolonged period of non-use, it is
recommended to run a SUPER WASH programme with a proprietary Wash Machine Cleaner
Detergent and without any items loaded. Using this procedure once a year (or earlier if necessary)
will help to maintain your appliance in good working order.
The Wash Filter must be cleaned when it is noticed there is an accumulation of food debris.
With the door in the open position slide the lower basket fully outwards, turn the handle
clockwise and lift the filter out.
Clean with a brush and running water, then refit and lock in position by turning the handle anti-
clockwise.
