Opening the Housing Panels

The system housing has one front door and two side panels.
observe the following ESD (electrostatic discharge) precautions before
installing any system component:
1.
Do not remove any system component from its packaging unless you
are ready to install it.
2.
Wear a wrist grounding strap before handling electronic components.
Wrist grounding straps are available at most electronic component
stores.
DO NOT attempt the procedures in the following
sections unless you are confident of your
capability to perform them.

Removing the Left and Right Panel

Microswitches are allocated on both side of the housing panel. They help
indicate whether the panel is removed or intact.
To remove the left or right panel:
1.
Turn off the power to the system unit and unplug all cables.
2.
Place the system unit on a flat, steady surface and lock the wheels by
pressing down the levers.
3.
Remove the screws of the left or right panel. Set the screws aside. You
will need them when replacing the panels.
4.
Pull out the panel and detach.
