Removal Procedures

When there is artwork to support a procedure, it follows the text.

Covers

Right Cover Removal

1. Turn the printer off.
2. Remove all external trays.
3. Open the top cover.
4. Depress the latch and open the right cover.
5. Remove the E-clip from the rear pivot pin and lift the cover off
the rear pivot pin.

Front Cover Removal

1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the paper tray.
3. Open the top cover.
4. Open the right cover.
5. Release the latches [B]. You can reach the lower latches
through the paper tray opening.
6. Lift the right side of the cover to disengage the latch [D].
7. Slide the cover to the right to disengage the bracket from the
posts.
8. Pull the front cover forward and disconnect the ground strap
from the frame on the left side.
