Clearing the Program Memory

Once programmed, the ECXTRA memory will be
retained for several years with or without power. Only
the current time and date information will be lost and will
need to be reset if power is disconnected for more than
24 hours.
The programmable memory can cleared and reset to the
default settings of individual programs or all programs
simultaneously. (Refer the the default settings listed on
page 21.)
IMPORTANT: This procedure permanently erases the pro-
grammable watering information and can not be automati-
cally restored once the procedure has been completed.
To clear the memory of a selected program (Example 1)
Turn the control dial to the
position.
Check the
PROGRAMS
reposition the switch to select the desired program.
Press the
NEXT
feature; CL will be displayed and begin flashing.
Press and hold the –/
flashing (approximately five seconds). The memory
will be cleared to the default settings.
