Action
Be sure the printer contains good print cartridges.
Reseat the printhead cable on the system board
and check the following parts for wear or damage:
• Print Cartridge Latch
• Latch Spring
• Carrier
Clean the print nozzles when you suspect the
nozzles are clogged or if the characters are not
printing completely. When you clean the print
nozzles, a test line prints so you can see if the
cleaning process was successful.
Use the operator panel to run the nozzle test and
clean the cartridge.
1. Press Return until Ready appears on the
operator panel.
2. Press the Arrow button until you see SETUP
OPTIONS.
3. Press Select.
4. Press the Arrow button until you see Cartridge
Menu.
5. Press Select.
6. Select Clean/Cartridge.
7. Load plain paper and press Select.
