Quick Start
At the HP NetServer:
¨
Step 1
When HP AutoPilot Client setup is finished, the HP AutoPilot icon appears in the
display, or, in Windows 95, on the program bar. With HP AutoPilot installed and
running at the client workstation, restart each installed HP NetServer.

Step 2
To complete the installation you must restart each HP NetServer on which you
installed the server software. A verification message from the HP NetServer is
then sent to your HP AutoPilot Client letting you know that installation was
successful.

Steps for Servers Running Microsoft Windows NT

At the Client Workstation:

Step 1
Insert the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM in your HP AutoPilot Client's CD-
ROM drive. From the Windows Program Manager, run setup.exe located in the
autoplt subdirectory.

Step 2
For an initial installation, choose the default option, "Install HP AutoPilot with
the option to install the Server Software."

Step 3
Be sure to make note of the TCP/IP address of your HP AutoPilot Client when it is
displayed at the end of the HP AutoPilot Client setup. You'll need this address
when you install the NSA software on your HP NetServers.
