iTAP
mode
Press # in a text entry screen to switch to
iTAP mode. iTAP mode lets you enter words
using one keypress per letter. The iTAP
software combines your keypresses into
common words and predicts each word as
you enter it.
For example, if you press 7764,
your phone displays a list of suggestions
for words such as Prog, Proh, and Spoi.
tap mode
Press # in a text entry screen and select
tap mode.
To enter text in tap mode, press a keypad key
repeatedly to cycle through the letters and
number on the key. Repeat this step to enter
each letter.
For example, if you press 8 once, the phone
displays:

Press

accept &

store text.
Press
DELETE
to left of insertion point.
• If you want a different word (such as
Text), continue pressing keypad keys
to enter the remaining characters.
• Tap Extended mode cycles through
additional special characters and symbols
as you repeatedly press a keypad key.
After 2 seconds,
the character
765
is accepted
and the cursor
moves to
next position.
DELETE
to delete character
