Installing Memory

Installing Memory
Static electricity can damage electronic components. Turn OFF all
CAUTION
equipment. Don't let your clothes touch the accessory. To equalize the
static electricity, rest the accessory bag on top of the PC while you are
removing the accessory from the bag. Handle the accessory as little as
possible and with care.

Installing Main Memory

Your PC is supplied with main memory. If you need more main memory
to run your application software, you can install up to a total of
384 MB (three 128 MB modules).
Main memory is available in modules of 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, or
128 MB. There are three memory "banks" (or slots), with each bank
supporting one SDRAM memory module.
You can mix modules of different sizes if you wish, for example, you
can put a 32 MB module in one slot and a 64 MB module in another.
