NOTE:
To successfully deploy this component to the client using HP Device Manager
or Altiris, you will need to complete the following steps:
1) Execute Add_HP_RDP_MMR_USB_Enhancements_1.00_A1.exe using the
"-s" switch. If this program is not executed using the "-s" switch, the program
may not run correctly.
2) After executing the program, the write filter must commit the changes to the
flash memory. This can be done by executing the following command from
the command line:
C:\windows\system32\ewfmgr.exe c: -commit
3) Reboot the thin client after changes are committed to the flash memory.

Server Side

NOTES:
In VMWare View 3 environments that use View Manager 3 broker, please
uninstall TCX Multimedia and USB redirection if you want to use HP RDP
Multimedia and USB enhancements.
If you install additional VMWare features after installing the HP RDP
Multimedia and USB Enhancements software, the registry keys are cleared
and the add-on is no longer functional. You will need to edit the Registry key,
as shown in Editing the Registry Key for VMWare View 3 below.

Complete: This is the default; select this to install all components.
Custom: This option allows you to choose which components (Multimedia Redirection, USB
Redirection) to install.
NOTE:
USB Redirection is not supported under Windows Terminal Server. If running
Terminal Server 2003, you will need to deselect USB Redirection when
installing the server side component.
Restart the server to complete installation.
