Data and Fax Calls

An optional Motorola Original™ data kit (which includes a cable
connector and a CD) lets you transfer data between your phone and a
portable computer with a MICROSOFT WINDOWS 2000 or XP
operating system.
With Motorola data kit you will be able to:
• Use the phone device as a modem, to connect to the internet.
• Use the phone to send and receive data and fax calls to your portable
computer.
• Synchronize your phonebook and your contacts
Install the Software
To transfer data between your phone and computer, you must install the software
included with the Motorola Original data kit. See the data kit's user guide for more
information.
Attach the Cable
Use a Motorola Original serial cable or Motorola Original MINI USB cable to
connect your phone to the external device.
Mini USB Cable
Do this
1 Connect the mini USB cable to the USB com port at the front of the M800
Bag Phone and to the USB connector at the portable computer.
