Trouble Shooting
In the unlikely event of difficulties with your washing machine please follow the trouble shooting guide
below. If the problem persists, contact the retailer if the machine is still under guarantee. If the machine is
out of guarantee, contact an approved service agent on 0845 600 4632.
If an error signal is displayed, please refer to error signals table on page 14.
Problem

Possible causes
• Incorrect connection to power supply
• Power failur e
• Door is not properly closed
• Washing machine has not been switched on
• Water tap is not turned on
• Water pressure is too low
• Inlet hose is kinked
• Water supply failure
• Pr ogramme selection dial is not properly set
• Door is not properly closed
• Drain hose is too low
• Drain hose is blocked
• End of drain hose is mor e than 100cm
above floor level
• Some packing bolts not removed
• Washing machine is on an uneven surface
• Water or electrical failure
• Deter gent is not a low foam type
• Excessive detergent has been used
Solutions
• Check power supply
• Check door is properly closed
• Check that the machine is on
• Check water supply is connected to a
domestic mains supply and that the tap is
fully open
• Check that hoses ar e not bent or crushed
• Turn dial to correct position
• Check door is properly closed
• Check that the height of the drain hose is
above 80cm
• Check the drain hose
• Check that packing bolts ar e removed
• Use a spirit level to check the machine is
level
• Check power and water supply
• Check deter gent type
• Use less detergent
