General features

Volume

Increasing Volume
Press the [u] button.
Decreasing Volume
Press the [d] button.

Attenuator

Turning the volume down quickly.
Press the [ATT] button.
Each time the button is pressed the Attenuator turns ON or OFF.
When it's ON, the "ATT" indicator blinks.

Loudness

Compensating for low and high tones during low volume.
Press the [LOUD] button for at least 1 second.
Each time the button is pressed for at least 1 second the
Loudness turns ON or OFF.
When it's ON, "LOUD" indicator is ON.

Dual Zone System

Makes the sound different for the front channel and rear
channel.
One side of both the front and rear channels outputs the internal
source sound, and the other side outputs the Auxiliary input
source sound.
Press the [S.A] button for at least 1 second.
Each time the button is pressed for at least 1 second Dual Zone
System switches ON or OFF.
When it's ON, "Zone 2 ON" is displayed.
• When the Dual Zone System is ON, there is no Auxiliary input
source channel audio control or other effect.
• When the Dual Zone System is being used the internal source
channel can't be used with an External disc source.
• When you set the Dual zone system to ON while the non-fading
preout is switched ON, the sound of the non-fading preout isn't
output.
• The Dual Zone System can be used with the optional Auxiliary
input sources shown below.
- KCA-S210A
- CA-C1AX
- CD changer with an Auxiliary input function installed.
• This function can be used in Auxiliary input source.
• The front channel and rear channel can be set to be the internal
source or the Auxiliary input source. Refer to the <Dual Zone
System Setting> (page 28).
