SSEMBLY

DRIVE SHAFT
Tools Required: 8 x 10 mm Spanner Wrench
Parts Required: Power Head, Drive Shaft Assembly
1.
Stand engine on a level surface.
2.
Loosen the two bolts (A) at drive shaft end of engine.
3.
Carefully fit drive shaft assembly to engine, making sure that
inner drive shaft engages into clutch mount.
NOTE
Rotate the drive shaft housing until edger housing is in line with the
engine.
4.
Tighten bolts (A).

THROTTLE LINKAGE

1.
Place throttle linkage (B) through adjustment fixture (C) and install
wire end into large carburetor throttle swivel hole (D). Check
throttle for freedom of movement and that wide open throttle / low
idle extremes are adjusted properly. The throttle linkage must be
adjusted by moving the adjustment fixture (C). Consult with your
Echo Dealer for correct adjustment procedure.

FRONT HANDLE

Tools Required: Cross-Head Screwdriver
1.
Loosely assemble front handle (A) and bracket (B) over collar (C)
on drive shaft.
2.
Position front handle in comfortable operating position and tighten
screws.
