Standby mode (factory default):
Standby is the default mode. With this mode, all NetWare related
functions are disabled.
Note:
Do not use Standby mode when using the Ethernet card in a NetWare
environment.

Using NetWare 3.1x

Follow these instructions to set up your Ethernet card for use with
NetWare 3.1x.

Notes about using NetWare 3.1x

Environment conflicts
When you print a text file using the NetWare NPRINT
command or DOS redirection, misconversion or a gap in
characters might occur depending on the client environment.
PCONSOLE limitation
You cannot use the Print Server status display control in
PCONSOLE to set up the Ethernet card in Print Server mode.
Time required to recognize the Ethernet card
It takes up to two minutes for the NetWare server to recognize
the Ethernet card after turning on the printer. During this start-
up time, EPSON Net!2 and the status sheet do not show the
correct information.
