Chapter 4. Installing options

This chapter provides instructions for adding options to the blade server.

Installation guidelines

Before you begin, read the following information:
v Read the safety information beginning on page v and the guidelines in "Handling
v Read the information in "Preinstallation checklist" on page 17.
v Back up all important data before you make changes to disk drives.
v Have a small flat-blade screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver available.
