8.13 Send Touchtones

You can use the keypad (0 to 9, * and #) to send tones during a call.
For example, to operate an answer machine and for operating home or phone banking.

8.14 Caller Identity Delivery (CID)

Caller Identity Delivery (CID) feature lets you see who is calling on the line. It also lets you
know who called you in your absence.
If you have subscribed to Caller ID, and provided the identity of the caller is not withheld,
the number of the caller will be displayed together with the date and time of the call (if
provided by the network).
Note:
• If the telephone number is not available for incoming calls, the handset will display
Unavailable.
• If the incoming call is from a withheld telephone number, the handset will display
Withheld.
• Information about incoming calls will vary by country and network operator. Some
operators may charge a subscription for their Caller ID service.

8.15 Caller ID Directory Matching

If you have subscribed to Caller ID and the caller's number matches the telephone
number you have stored in your Contacts, it will display the name of the Contact rather
than the telephone number. If it is a missed call, when you review the call log, it will
display the name of the Contact as well.
