Novell NetWare Configuration Manager Console

The service on the machine has shut down or has become unavailable. The
service on the server you are viewing has shut down or has become
unavailable.
The Novell NetWare Configuration Manager Console (NCMCON) user
interface enables you to view status information on PCI slots and control
features, such as removing and adding PCI Hot Plug expansion boards all from
one focal point.
Navigating the NCMCON Menus
The NCMCON interface constantly retrieves and displays the status of all of
the slots. If there are any errors, the appropriate error message displays. To
navigate through these menus, follow these guidelines:
From the Main menu, use the arrow keys to move up and down the list
of slots. The current line is highlighted.
Press the Enter key to go to the Slot Options menu. Use the arrow keys
to highlight the correct option and press the Enter key to select that
option. If you press the Enter key when a non-hot-plug slot is
highlighted, the Slot Detail screen displays.
If at any point you want to return to the Main menu, press the Esc key.
Press the F1 key for online help.
Performing PCI Hot Plug Actions
The Compaq PCI Hot Plug and the NetWare PCI Hot Plug application work
together to allow the following hot-plug actions:
View slot detail information
This option enables you to view detailed information about each PCI
slot.
Hot removal of expansion boards
You can manually shut down and permanently remove an expansion
board, regardless of whether it is working or has failed. Performing a
manual removal also disables the device driver.
