    The Optimum Environment When installing your Compaq ProLiant 1850R server in a rack, certain standards of temperature and power requirements must be met. Space Requirements The following spatial needs should be considered when deciding where to install your rack: Clearance in the front of the rack should be a minimum of 25 inches for the front door to open all the way and for adequate airflow.
