The optional cloth
filter bag
When to empty
Check filter bag from time to time. It
should be emptied often. If the filter bag
is allowed to overfill, the cleaner will not
operate effectively.

How to empty
Disconnect cleaner from electrical
outlet.
Push down at top of bag door and

pull forward. Remove dood.

Slide filter bag clip from bottom of

bag.

After replacing clip, open

bag cap (C).
Do not operate without either cloth
filter bag or paper filter bag in place.

Grasp filter bag collar(A) and pull

collar ftom tube (B).

Empty filter bag over paper, shaking

bag until clean

Hold filter bag as shown, aligning

opening in bag with (B). Push (A)
firmly onto (B). Fit bottom of filter bag
into bag compartment.

Snap cap (C) into collar opening.

To replace filter bag clip, first

fold down top of bag over
plastic strip (D).
Push clip over edge.

Reposition bag door by placing tabs

on bottom of door into opening.
Press top of door to snap securely shut.
Should you want to replace the cloth filter
bag, ask for Hoover part No. 43667-050.
