Connecting the Integrated
Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 Controller
to SCSI Devices
Refer to the following table for an overview of cabling SCSI devices
internally to the Integrated Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 Controller. Table 4-1 assumes
that the controller end of the Wide SCSI cable has not been connected to the
Integrated Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 Controller.
Cabling the Integrated SCSI Controller to Internal SCSI Devices
NHP* Hard Drives
1. Locate the Wide SCSI cable. No additional
cables are required.
2. Connect controller end of Wide SCSI cable to
Integrated SCSI Controller.
3. Connect wide to standard cable adapter, if
needed.
4 Connect an available connector on SCSI cable
to the device(s).
5. Ensure SCSI ID uniquely
set on each device.
6. Run System Configuration Utility.
