FAILURE CORRECTION
If your LATERNA should fail to function despite observance of all instructions,
please proceed as described in the following steps :
1) It may occur that your LATERNA is ready for operation but it is covered by
another source of light. In this case, relocate the solar station.
2) Ensure that your LATERNA does not stand in the shade during the day.
3) Check the rechargeable battery for corrosion.
REMOVING / CHANGING THE RECHARGEABLE
BATTERY
• Lay the lamp head down on the ground.
• Turn the lens counter-clockwise by hand to separate the lens from the
lamp .
• Detach the lens from the lamp.
• Remove the fastening screw on the battery lid and lift off battery lid
• Remove the rechargeable battery to re-load it and/or exchange it
Re-assembly is accordingly conducted in the reverse order
ATTENTION!
Use Original Wagner rechargeable batteries only.
When exchanging the rechargeable battery, ensure that none of the
connections or wires are damaged.
Winterrise
We recommend storing your LATERNA in winter at temperatures below 0°C in
a frost-free location and re-erecting it in spring. The rechargeable battery can
be loaded with a commercial net charger.
